The Boundaries Reset

A self-guided, one-day retreat for recognising where you keep overriding yourself, and beginning to rebuild self-trust.

Work through it alone, at your own pace, in your own space.

The Problem

Something has started to feel quietly unsustainable.

You say yes when something in you means no. You soften the truth before you speak it. You stay easy to deal with, then feel the irritation, the heaviness, or the quiet resentment afterwards.

It is not that you lack awareness. You feel the drain, the tightness, the exhaustion that sleep does not seem to touch.

Knowing alone has not been enough to change it.

What is left is the same patterns, the same questions, and a growing sense of negotiating against what you already know to be true.

The Solution

The Boundaries Reset is a complete one-day retreat you guide yourself through, anywhere, at your own pace.

It is not about building harder walls, managing other people, or reinventing your life overnight. It is a structured day for looking honestly at where you have quietly abandoned your own limits, needs, and truth in order to keep connection, approval, peace, or usefulness, then beginning to rebuild trust with yourself.

The work is yours and stays private. There is no group, no call, and no one watching you process.

Across the day you will:

  • Choose one real situation and notice where you moved past yourself.

  • Look at what the pattern protects, and what it has been costing you.

  • Weigh the cost of staying the same against the cost of change.

  • Explore what more honest participation could look like.

  • Picture responding differently, and notice what now feels more possible.

The retreat draws on psychological reflection, body awareness, and carefully sequenced retreat design. It has been built so the day stays honest without becoming overwhelming, with breaks, movement, and aftercare built in.

What's Inside

Regulate: Arriving Fully

Settle and arrive properly before the work begins, with an optional grounding practice.

Recognise: Where You Override Yourself

Choose one recent, real situation and notice where you moved past your own signals.

Reveal: Beneath the Behaviour

Look at what the pattern protects: connection, approval, peace, usefulness, identity.

Reconcile: Sitting With Reality

Weigh the cost of staying the same against the cost of change, honestly.

Pause: The Boundary Walk

Step away from the page for a slow walk, letting your body catch up with your mind.

Realign: Behavioural Congruence

Explore what more honest participation could look like in that one situation.

Return: Back to Real Life

Picture responding differently, then write a short summary of your day to take with you.

Aftercare: Evening Integration

A quieter evening to let the day settle, with an optional evening integration practice.

Plus: Optional guided audio practices to support the day.

Who this is for

This retreat is for you if you:

  • Keep moving past what you know to be true, to keep things smooth

  • Feel the cost of over-giving but find it hard to stop

  • Know what you need yet find it hard to honour

  • Value privacy and think most clearly on your own

  • Want structure and depth without a coach hovering

It is not a script pack for saying no, and not a way to build harder walls.

It is quieter and more honest than that.

What you'll leave with

  • A clearer view of where, and why, you override yourself

  • An honest reckoning of what the pattern costs, set against what change would cost

  • A felt sense that discomfort can be real and still survivable

  • A clearer idea of what more honest participation could look like

  • A short written summary of the day, in your own words, to return to

  • A steadier trust in your own signals

Before you buy

The Boundaries Reset is a self-guided retreat for private reflection. It is a reflective and educational experience, not therapy, counselling, or medical care, and it is not crisis support. The day asks for honesty, and at times it may feel uncomfortable or bring quieter things into focus. That is a normal part of slowing down, and the retreat is paced and grounded, with breaks and aftercare built in. You move through it in your own time, and you can pause, skip, or stop any part of it whenever you need to.

You stay responsible for your own wellbeing and choices throughout. If you are going through something that needs proper support at the moment, or you are unsure whether this kind of reflective work is right for you just now, please speak to a qualified professional before you begin.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE

Saying...

"I realised I had been treating boundaries as something I needed to explain to other people, rather than something I needed to be honest about with myself first.

The retreat helped me see where I was overriding my own signals, and where I had been calling it kindness, maturity, or keeping the peace."

Solo Retreat Participant

“I chose this because I did not want to process something personal in a group. The private format made all the difference. I could pause, write, cry a little, walk away, come back, and keep going without having to explain myself to anyone.

The Boundaries Reset helped me reconnect with my own standards and make a decision I had been circling for months.”

FAQ's

How long does this retreat take?

The Boundaries Reset is designed to be completed slowly over a full day, roughly 6 to 7 hours including breaks.

There are five core sections. As a guide, allow at least 45 minutes for each one, with short breaks between sections. The first three sections are best completed before lunch, followed by a longer pause for food, movement and rest before returning to the afternoon sections.

The timings are there to support the experience, not control it. Move through the retreat in order, and let each section take the time it needs.

Do I need any special location?

No. Anywhere you can protect uninterrupted time works: home, an Airbnb, your garden, or any quiet space where you can think, write and pause. It might be a lovely idea to take yourself away for the weekend, but its not necessary, the space you create around the work matters more than where you are.

What materials do I need?

Each retreat has a full list in the Welcome section of exactly what you need for that particular retreat. In general you will need your retreat guide, a notebook or the printed workbook, a pen, the audio files if you choose to use them, and a quiet space to think, write and pause.

Do I need prior experience with self-development work?

No. The process is structured to guide you whether this is familiar territory or new. If you have already done a lot of reflective work, the structure gives your insight somewhere precise to go.

What if I get stuck or emotional during the retreat??

The retreat is paced with grounding and breaks so you can slow down or step away whenever you need to. You set the depth and the speed.

Is this suitable for someone in crisis or with significant mental health needs?

Remote Retreats are reflective, self-guided experiences for emotionally stable adults. They are not therapy, counselling or crisis support. If you are in crisis, or currently need professional mental health support, this may not be the right container right now.

Can I do this more than once?

Absolutely. Yes. The retreat is yours to return to. A second pass may reveal different patterns, decisions or next steps as your circumstances change. You can return to this retreat annually, during transitions, or whenever you notice old patterns creeping back in. Each time reveals new layers.

What makes this different from therapy or coaching?

Therapy, counselling and coaching happen in relationship with a professional. This is a private, self-guided process you move through alone, on your own terms.

The Boundaries Reset helps you recognise where you have been overriding yourself, reconnect with your internal standards, and turn that clarity into more honest boundaries you can actually live.

When will I receive my order?

Digital access is delivered immediately after purchase, once you have confirmed that you want instant access and understand the cancellation terms for digital content.

Printed workbooks ship within 5 working days to UK addresses ONLY - please make sure you put the correct delivery address on checkout, as that is where your retreat will be sent!

Not sure yet? Start with the taster.
